Which radiators are worth the most?
Copper and brass radiators, common in older vehicles and equipment, carry the highest value. Aluminum-copper and all-aluminum units come next, and steel radiators are priced as ferrous scrap. We grade each by its metal, so you are paid for exactly what is in the core.
Do you take automotive and HVAC radiators?
Yes, both. Car and truck radiators, along with aluminum-copper coils pulled from HVAC and AC systems, are some of the most common cores we buy. Bring them in and we will sort them by type.
Should I drain the radiator first?
Please drain any coolant or fluids before drop-off, since we cannot take units with liquid still inside. There is no need to cut or dismantle it, we will grade the radiator as-is.
Do radiators with steel frames or plastic sides still count?
They do. Many radiators come with steel end tanks, brackets, or plastic sides. Our team grades the mixed core so you are paid fairly for the copper, brass, or aluminum inside.
Can I bring a coil still attached to an AC unit?
You can. If a coil is still attached to a condenser or appliance, bring it in and we will handle it. Separating the clean core ahead of time usually earns a little more.
How do you price radiators?
Because radiators are a mix of metals, we grade each one by its core rather than by weight alone. We sort copper, brass, and aluminum from steel, price them against the current market, and pay cash on the spot.
