Modesto's Premier Brass Recycling Facility

Brass is one of the most valuable everyday alloys you can recycle, a copper-based metal found in faucets, valves, fittings, pipe, shell casings, and hardware. Because it carries real copper content, clean brass earns a strong price, and we buy every kind, from bright plumbing brass to bronze and irony pieces. Plumbers, remodelers, and homeowners around the Valley have trusted us with their brass for generations. Bring it by, watch it hit the scale, and collect your cash before you leave.

Top Brass Prices: We price all brass and bronze against the live market, from clean yellow brass to fittings, shells, and irony pieces.

Full-Service Solutions: For shops with steady brass volume, we set out bins, arrange scheduled pickups, and take the heavier loads off your hands.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about recycling, accepted materials, pricing, or how the process works? Find quick answers to help make your visit easy and hassle-free.

What's the difference between yellow and red brass?

Yellow brass is the common bright brass found in faucets, fittings, and hardware. Red brass carries more copper, often in valves and pump parts, and usually grades higher. Our team sorts each piece so you're paid fairly for what you bring in.

Do you buy bronze too?

Yes. Bronze is another copper alloy, found in bearings, bushings, valves, and marine hardware, and it's welcome right alongside your brass. We weigh and grade it on-site.

Do faucets, valves, or water meters still count if they have steel or plastic parts?

They do. Mixed items like these grade as dirty or irony brass, and our team knows how to sort them so you get a fair payout on the brass content. No need to strip them down first.

Should I separate clean brass from the dirty pieces?

It's up to you. Clean brass that's free of other metals prices highest, so separate it if it's worth your time. If not, bring it all in as-is and we'll grade each type for you.

Do you take brass shell casings?

Yes, we accept spent brass casings. Please make sure they're empty, with no live primers or powder, before you bring them by. Give us a call if you're unsure about anything.

How do you price brass?

Brass tracks the copper-driven market, so the rate moves with demand from one day to the next. We weigh your load in front of you and pay in cash on the spot, with nothing held back in fees.
