What's the difference between prepared and unprepared iron?
Prepared iron is cut down to a manageable size, so it's ready to load and process and usually grades a little higher. Unprepared iron is oversized or bulky and needs extra cutting. Bring it either way and our team will sort and grade it for you.
Do you buy cast iron?
Yes. Cast iron like brake rotors, cookware, tubs, pipe, and machine housings is always welcome. We weigh and grade it on-site and pay you before you leave.
Do you buy large equipment like tractors, forklifts, or farm implements?
We do. We take forklifts, tractors, farm implements, and large industrial machinery. For anything too big to haul, ask about our flatbed hauling and we'll come to you.
Do you take cut-up auto scrap or old appliances?
Yes, we accept metal-only auto scrap and industrial kitchen appliances. Please drain any fluids and remove non-metal parts first. Give us a call if you're not sure whether something qualifies.
Is there a minimum amount of iron or steel to bring in?
No minimum at all. Whether it's a single rotor or a full roll-off container, bring what you have. For steady or large volumes, ask about placing a bin at your location.
How do you price iron and steel?
Iron and steel move with the daily ferrous market, so the price per pound can change from morning to afternoon. We weigh your load at the yard and pay cash before you pull out, with no fees taken off the top.
