Modesto Junk Company, Inc. Recycling Center anounces that it has received the 2000 Business Recycling Award from the City of Modesto Solid Waste Division. The Company was presented the award at the Earth Day in the Park 2000 festival – a free, public event hosted by the City at Graceada Park in Downtown Modesto. Modesto Junk Co. was honored “…for its outstanding recycling and waste reduction efforts in the City of Modesto…” This is the second consecutive year that Modesto Junk Co. has received such an award.
