Lawn mower trade-in continues at Modesto Junk Co.
In partnership with with the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD), a lawn mower trade-in program at Modesto Junk Company, Inc. Recycling Center that began in April of 2009 remains ongoing at this time.
Individuals who have a gas-powered lawn mower can contact the SJVAPCD until funds for the program are exhausted, and request a discount voucher to purchase an electric-powered Neuton brand lawn mower for $150.00 to $250.00 LESS (depending on model selected) than the retail price. Vouchers are validated when citizens bring their old, gas-powered lawn mower to Modesto Junk Co. For more details, visit ValleyAir.org.
