What scrap items are not accepted?
While we accept a wide variety of scrap metals, there are several items we cannot take for safety, regulatory, or processing reasons:
We don’t accept general household junk or trash, paper recycling, CRV bottles and cans, or non-metal furniture like sofas and wooden items. Electronic items such as printers and faxes are also not accepted, along with household batteries (AA, AAA, etc.) and lithium/EV batteries.
For safety reasons, we cannot accept any hazardous waste, liquids, fluids, enclosed tanks, or compressed cylinders. We also don’t take plate glass items like windows or windshields, or wood materials.
Essentially, we focus on scrap metals and lead-acid car batteries – if it’s not metal or a lead-acid battery, there’s a good chance we can’t accept it.

Do you buy non-lead-acid car batteries?
No, we only purchase and recycle traditional lead-acid car batteries at this time. We don’t currently accept other types of automotive batteries such as lithium-ion, nickel-metal hydride, or other non-lead-acid batteries.
If you have a lead-acid car battery (the most common type found in gasoline vehicles), we’d be happy to take it off your hands! These batteries contain valuable lead and other materials that we can safely process and recycle.
For non-lead-acid batteries, we recommend checking with your local auto parts store, as many offer recycling programs for various battery types, or contact your municipal waste management facility for proper disposal options in your area.
