Modesto, CA – Modesto Junk Company, Inc. • Recycling Center (The Company) has added to the growing repertoire of items it accepts for recycling. In addition to ferrous & nonferrous metals, CRV beverage containers, cardboard and auto batteries, The Company is now accepting nonhazardous electronic waste (e-waste).

Customer demand prompted The Company to venture into e-waste scrap recycling, and it’s now “one-stop drop-off” recycling like never before at the Downtown Modesto business. The Company remains the long-time Central California scrap recycling market leader, paying the region’s top prices for ferrous (iron-based) and nonferrous (non-iron based; i.e. aluminum, brass, copper, stainless steel) scrap metals and California Refund Value (CRV) aluminum cans. With the addition of e-waste, The Company is now paying for items that contain screens four inches (4″) in size or larger, and accepting remaining nonhazardous electronic items as well.

The e-waste items that Modesto Junk Company is paying for include televisions, computer monitors, laptops (with screens attached), iPads, e-readers and more. Nonhazardous e-waste items which The Company also accepts include computer towers, music devices, microwaves and other small kitchen appliances, cell phones and more.

Anyone who is unsure of an item that may be brought to Modesto Junk Company as e-waste should call (209) 522-1435 or email info@modestojunk.com.
