2021: A Year of Giving and Community Involvement

Each year, Modesto Junk Company, Inc. provides financial, hands-on, and direct donation support to a variety of charitable nonprofits, community events, and other local groups. The impact is often enhanced through the direct involvement and personal generosity of our employees, whose own time and financial contributions aid a number of charitable and community organizations. Modesto Junk Company’s 2021 community involvement was again impacted by COVID-19. Many of the organizations we are often involved in helping did not hold active fundraising activities this past year. Still, we were able to help out with these benefiting organizations:

Community Hospice, Inc. – Annual Gala

Congregation Beth Shalom

John C. Bosio Training Center at Central Catholic High School

Lakewood Elementary School

Love Modesto clean-up day event at La Loma Neighborhood, Spring Event

Love Modesto – Love Our Cities annual golf tournament

Modesto Children’s Museum

Modesto – Empire Little League

Modesto Youth Soccer Association – fall league team sponsor

National Night Out organizers’ event for Modesto Police Dept.

Modesto Technical College – Welding Dept. – metal trade-in program

O’Brien’s O’Bgreen Recycling for the City of Modesto parks – benefiting The Awesome Spot playground

VFW – Veterans of Foreign Wars

And our recycle donation program with the following groups…

Cat Network of Stanislaus

O’Brien’s O’Bgreen for City of Modesto Parks
