Modesto Junk Company, Inc. Recycling Center was selected as a recipient of a 2014 Business Recycling Award from the City of Modesto. Recycling more than 30,000 tons of materials in 2014, the Company was selected by the City of Modesto Solid Waste Division.
The award was presented at the Modesto City Council meeting on Tuesday, September 1, 2015. A celebration reception was then held at the Mistlin Art Gallery afterward. This is the sixteenth consecutive year that Modesto Junk Co. has received such an award.
