For the fourth year in a row, the Modesto Junk Company, Inc. Recycling Center is a partner recycling center with the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD) for the Clean Green Yard Machines lawn mower trade-in program.
Individuals who have a gas-powered lawn mower can contact the SJVAPCD and request a discount voucher to purchase an electric-powered Neuton brand lawn mower for just $25 – $50 (14″ or 19″ model, repectively). Vouchers are validated when you bring your old, gas-powered lawn mower to Modesto Junk Co. There are a limited number of vouchers available.
