Come out on May 19, 2010, and see the bicycle racers at the 2010 Amgen Tour of California in Modesto! In addition to helping out as an official event sponsor, Modesto Junk Co. is doing its part to help see that everything gets recycled from the day’s activities. We’re teaming up for another Boyett-Cruisers’ ‘B’ Green Recycling Event on site this day. All donated, recyclable items collected will be cashed to benefit the City of Modesto’s Adopt a Park program.
Items that can be donated for this community-wide fundraising activity include scrap metal, CRV aluminum cans, glass and plastic bottles, as well as items for document shredding and e-waste. Together, let’s make this a green biking day!
