Alexis was born in Modesto in 1982, and graduated from Johansen High School in 2001. She earned a Certificate in Early Education from Modesto Junior College and an Associate Teacher Permit from the State of CA in 2003. Her son, Kaleb, was born in 2010. Alexis works in a number of capacities at Modesto Junk Company: cashiering, directing traffic, and helping customers unload and sort their recyclables and scrap metals. Alexis is a great granddaughter of founder, Alex, and was given her name in his honor.
