Classic American car cruising history is celebrated with the new Modesto Historic Cruise Route. The former cruising streets of 10th and 11th streets in Downtown Modesto, immortalized in George Lucas’ 1973 film American Graffiti, is now a destination for visitors, both locally and globally. Located right across the street from the old Burge’s Drive-In (9th & “O” streets) throughout the whole car cruising era was Modesto Junk Company!
